PPhA Isabela Chapter hosts CPD Seminar

CAUAYAN, Isabela, August 25, 2024 – One hundred twenty nine (129) pharmacists from Isabela and Quirino gathered at the St. John Hall, Our Lady of the Pillar Parish Pastoral Building in Cauayan City, Isabela. Pharmacists were eager to attend the first face-to-face Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Seminar after the pandemic. The theme of the 2024 Philippine Pharmacists Association (PPhA) National CPD Program was “Empowering Filipino Pharmacists for Better Healthcare.”

Ms. Romelyn Adriana Custodio – Ramirez Alindaya, President of PPhA Isabela Chapter expressed her warm welcome to the participants. Mr. Dennis Casares, PPhA Vice President for Luzon, read the Opening Address on behalf of Dean Aleth Therese Dacanay, PPhA National President.

Subject matter experts (SMEs) from the PPhA Bureau of Speakers Ms. Jennifer Flores and Ms. Carmina Joy Laggui were invited to render lectures to the pharmacists.

After the scientific session, the PPhA Isabela and Quirino Chapters were given the opportunity to present Chapter Updates to their members. One of the highlights of the event was the recognition of the PPhA Life Members of Isabela and Quirino.

Certificates of Appreciation and tokens were presented to the SMEs. Ms. Glenda Cayong, Vice President of PPhA Quirino concluded the event with her closing remarks.
